I'm a fanboy of the Metal Gear series since waaaaaay back. As much as I like Solid Snake, I prefer Raiden's new incarnation's design better. So here's a piece of art done roughly in 5 hours time give or take. I painted it loose deliberately except for the head and some parts of the upper torso & chest. Hope you all like it! Thank you Hideo Kojima for the wonderful characters that made them and the game larger than life! :D

kinda kewl to see it there now, and just a few years ago i saw this picture published on dA for the first time ^^

I've never played Metal Gear, but my brother has. And when he is playing. I'm sitting glued to the screen. I just Love MG!!
But he hasn't bought MGS4 yet :(

Raiden v2 is the MAN. Poor kid got traumatized right out of VR training by having to crawl through Arsenal Gear and get his ass handed to him by everyone from Fatman to a Harrier to Solidus Snake. And then he comes back as 100% Badass.

I love the watercolor-esque shading you have on his limbs. The colors look all liquid and such. Crazy detail, awesome character art. :)
